Getting Started With The Odyssey Program:

Welcome to Odyssey!! I am glad to have you join our class.  Learning from home and working online is a fantastic experience.  It's also a lot work and takes some time to get adjusted to.  It's very important that you ask questions and stay in communication with me as you are learning how to learn from home.  Below are forms and tutorials to get you started on this online educational adventure.  Please follow the instructions and click on the links below.

There is so much that you will be learning in the weeks ahead.  A very important part of becoming familiar with Odyssey is to learn how to navigate through the Odyssey Website.  The Odyssey website has important information regarding all Odyssey events as well as access to the required curriculum sites.  Please click the link below, print, and follow the directions.  Mr. B will collect this form.

Setting up and executing a daily routine is crucial to the home school student.  Without a consistant daily schedule, students will have extreme difficulties completing day to day tasks.  Below are links (depending on the grade level of the student) of two schedules that you will need to start to implement.  Please click the link of the appropriate grade level, print, and start practicing.

(For Parents)

Before you begin working online, there are a few things that I ask the parents to do before your student(s) dive in.  


To use the required online curriculum, your computer must be updated with necessary downloads in order for the programs to run effectively.  To check your system to see if your computer is up to date, click the link below.

The internet is a wonderful tool to educate but also has the potential to be dangerous if not used in a smart and safe manner.  Please click on the link below, read, and discuss with your student(s).
